As previously announced, the “Hunarmand” Association has been recognized as the winner of a $40,000 USD grant within the ALIPH–EU Central Asia Call for Projects competition for the “Ikat Connection” project.
Today, April 16, an online meeting was held via Zoom, with representatives of the “Hunarmand” Association and project experts participating.
During the meeting:
— the priority directions for project implementation were discussed;
— a plan of practical measures was developed;
— the responsibilities of the accountable parties were defined.
Within the framework of this project, particular emphasis is placed on the preservation of national cultural heritage, the transmission of intangible cultural values to future generations, and the further development of the handicraft sector.
